Mr Kane was brilliant, I had a hip replacement and a knee replacement, both at Queen Alexandra.I can't speak highly enough of him, he explained every thing that was going to happen and made me feel at ease.

For me, the most important thing about Mr Kane is that I felt he is on my side, doing what he does for me, the patient. All of our discussions and his actions focussed on what the best treatment was for me, from initial consultation through to my post op follow up.
He gave me all the time I needed to discuss my condition, listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions - no matter how difficult or repetative they were. He gave me the time and space I needed to consider all the options. He spoke with me as an equal so that I was well informed and able to make the best decision for me.
On the day of my hip replacement, I had the utmost confidence that a total hip replacement was the best course of action for me. I also had the utmost confidence in Mr Kane. His manner was calm and reassuring and when he checked that I was ready to go ahead, I was.
Mr Kane is a true professional with excellent communication and clinical skills. I am now pain free and more active than I have been for a long time. Seven months after my operation, it feels like a little magic has been performed. Thank you.

Mr Kane was my surgeon on this occasion and also 12 months ago for my first knee replacement. He is always very professional and listens to what you have to say.

I would recommend Mr Kane to everyone who requires a Hip replacement.
The initial appointments made with him led to a properly informed decision to go ahead with this operation.
Both the inpatient care by Mr Kane AND His Team was second to none.
The outcome of the operation has been that I am now Pain-Free.
